A Chinese lady named Debra Wu, or I should call her Chinese American since she refused to think that she is an Asian (I'm yellow myself) has come to a spa.

After a satisfying spa treatment, Wu tipped an esthetician (the person who provides skin care service) on her credit card. With no sale pressure, Wu bought a spa package with her own decision because it was a great deal.

Then the nightmare begins, Wu started calling the spa everyday asking for a refund. The spa manager nicely told her to write a letter to the company stating the reason for the refund. The spa manager made sure there is NO malpractice on the skin and body care service performed, and told Wu that all services, prepaid package and gift certificates are NOT refundable or redeemable for cash, which is a standard practice on all businesses. Well if Wu was told by a medical doctor that she could no longer receive the skin or body care service, she could send the doctor's note along with her letter to the company, and the company will issue a refund.

With a failed attempt of manipulation, Wu threatened to yelp, and eventually she yelped with an excuse of poor customer service at the spa. Wu also filed for a charge back on her credit card, which she used to tip and pay for a service which HAS BEEN rendered / performed. Poor esthetician, who worked hard for Wu, is now NOT being paid.

Sad isn't it? Some people might not be able to afford a spa service, which is totally fine. But you do not roam around asking for a FREE spa service without paying, which is a form of stealing in my opinion.

May be I'm being old-schooled: woman used to behave like a lady but nowadays woman may behave like a bitch. If you desire to be respectable in the public, then behave like a lady again please. It's sad to see woman degrades in this way.
